    I'm right handed, left foot foward, My daughter is right handed, right foot foward, My son is left handed, left foot foward. go figure!

      I'm a lefty that skis left foot forward. I think because I learned to slalom at camp via dropping a ski. Last year for fun I tried to deep water start with the right foot forward and I wasn't even remotely close to getting out of the water!! I couldn't believe how alien it felt.
