    S.A.D.

I have always known that when winter rolled around that I get depressed. My family always made fun of me about it. Well as it turns out, I am really sick. According to the site I need some antidepressant medications, and talk therapy could be effective. Light therapy using a special lamp to mimic light from the sun may also be helpful.

Obviously I am not alone in this and thought that there may be some of you on here that share in my depression. So I was thinking that we may need to start a S.A.D page on this site to help each other get through the winter.

As much as I am joking around here, this really is how I get during the winter. Other than a couple trips out west to snowboard, and Christmas, winter sucks!

I too feel your pain. It wasn't bad because I had snowmobiles. But they are gone. My wakeboard sits against the wall in my living room. Have to look at it everyday! How may months till May???

I get some of this during the summer because I can't use my boat anywhere near as much as I want to.

I run on my treadmill while watching Wake videos. About an Hour a day seems to be enough to keep the depression away. To bad winter is so long in Wisconsin.

I am actually making a "nautique" theme room in the house this winter to help combat this.
