Its totally an age thing with the whole boarder/skier dilemma. Old guys (yes you with teenagers), go and ask your teenage son/daughter which boat they would prefer to be on below on a beautiful summer day....

Option 1: hanging with the fam on the ski boat respecting the environment and others?

                or

Option 2: hanging with local wakeboarders and friends having a little fun with loud music?

If they choose option #1, then you might be somewhat of a controlling parent and you have basically brainwashed your child's interests and lifestyle for them. Do you really think their is anything cool about sking? ................................I thought so

BTW....i am 31 years young and i'm in the picture below

Thank you Dollywood, I've never won an award so satisfying. I guess my 16 years of hardcore wakeboarding has paid it's dividends. I would like to accept this award on behalf of Correct Craft, Liquid Force, and the Anheuser Busch company.

Are you the dude on the right of the pic with the white camo shorts and the mustache eyeing the hottie in the pink/purple swimsuit on the back of the Nauti? That guy's got his priorities straight, unless of course, he has his eyes on the next boat over...

That guys cracks me up man. It is the same wherever I go. Whenever I raft with other boats in a cove regardless of where the lake is, there is always the solo old guy on a $80K wakeboard boat with empty wakeboard racks checking out the hotties. That will probably be me in 25 years. I'm going to sport a mullet and some Oakley Razor Blades, just to be THAT guy. That pic is good.

Ideally people would ballast their boat based on their skill level and respect others on the water, you don't need a giant wake to do what the average rider is capable of, so really, what is the point for the average rider running xthousand pounds of ballast?

A really good point was made earlier about being responsible for your wake also, I would bet a majority of boaters are unaware of that fact.
