There should be a section in these forums titled: Religion, Politics, and Childrearing.

None of you want my opinion on any of the three, nor do I want yours. This is about our boats and riding.

You can tell it is winter.

Ahhh, C'mon Wakeslayer, that's why it's under this heading:

          Off Topic
          Discussion for everything else...

It's way off topic but none the less something that makes us who we are. Either you believe in God and in his son Jesus or you don't. I choose to believe and WILL celebrate accordingly.

          Merry Christmas Mike!!!
If you can't do it in, on, or behind a Nautique..... It just ain't worth doing!

I think everyone should worship and celebrate how they see fit, and vote, and raise their kids. I simply choose to not discuss it with them.

And to you and yours, Tim!

Exactly, which is the subject of the origninal post....sodbuster88 just wanted to know if anyone else was disapponted. He didn't ask if anyone wasn't disappointed nor did he ask anyone for their beliefs.

Maybe the thread should have been a poll.

Quite frankly, I am more disappointed that when the Ski Nautique was redesigned, they built it as an open bow boat that you could put a closed bow deck on.
They compromised on the performance potential of a true closed bow boat.
It does not surprise me that they are compromising on the boldness they had when the Meloon family held controlling interest in the company.

Nope. If I went online and saw a website say Merry Christmas, I wouldn't think twice about it and go on with my merry way. What's offensive it when people get angry at what is said.

But, wakeslayer said it best. This is a ridiculous topic. And I could not agree with him more, "None of you want my opinion on any of the three, nor do I want yours."

Thought you all might be interested to know that Bill Yeargin has seen this thread, and he contacted me yesterday with some thoughts. One of the first things that he mentioned was that he was both surprised and encouraged by the passion of the posts in this thread. I thought that was a pretty cool statement.

We all know how deep Correct Craft's faith culture runs. Their mission statement continues to be "Building Boats to the Glory of God". Their weekly voluntary Bible Study program is still going on, and Bill himself teaches it! Correct Craft's employees who choose to do so are constantly living out their faith culture by participating in lots of faith-based activities, including the three Correct Craft-sponsored mission trips over the past couple of years.

Interestingly, Bill also made the comment that he is often told that the faith culture at Correct Craft is stronger and more sincere now than it has ever been.

Bill has assured me that Correct Craft has no plan to run from their faith. The simple fact is that the marketing team decided to add a banner to the website that would last into the new year, and they decided to have it say "Happy Holidays".

Bill also mentioned that there is a Christmas video that they're working on that will be posted to their website in a week or so. Let's keep an eye out for that.

Hey Everyone on this site!!! If you read the post by Jeff about Bill Yeargin and the mission statements of Correct Craft, remember it is Christmas time and the Season for Good Cheer and not the time for condeming the company you love or should love if you are a member of this site.

Have a Merry Christmas and if you will think about your blessings, you will have good cheer. Perhps you have lost your job and don't know if you can keep your Nautique, but remember you can read this post, and that is better than some of our troops that served in Iraq that can't see now due to exploding schrapnel that put their eyes out.

My best wishes to all of you in this Season! May the light of Christ shine upon you and bless you beyond your imagination!

I don't think "all" are interested to know. Clearly some individuals declared they could care less about what the website displayed, convictions, beliefs, etc.
