        Yep! The lake's frozen over, but the sky has some blue to it today and we had a nice sunrise. I can feel the days getting longer already! :grin:

                    Ah, another winter solstice come and gone. At 5:47 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time (that's 12:47 p.m. Eastern Standard Time) Monday, the Northern Hemisphere marked the mid-point of another year, as measured by the sun's highest position on that day above the horizon.

                            I would guess the Mayans astrological perception would make it an interesting experience. Are the temples not aligned to exact lines of the solstices and equinoxes?
