    Nope, a realist.
The countdown takes me to April 23rd.
The ice is generally gone by the end of March, depending on the weather, I can get the docks back in the water by mid April. The boats go back in the water as soon as the temps stay above freezing.
Did I mention that Michigan winters are too long!!! 😳
Since the solstice, there are 42 seconds more daylight today. And more light coming with each passing day...... 👍😜🌊🏄

Well, ok, whatever you say. I generally gather a couple friends or kids, and push the dock and lift within 2 days of ice off. And we slap on the dry suits and start.

Fair warning amigos,....the next 90 days should be your best. While we've had great weather here in H town for the last two weeks, I couldn't get to it. But next weekend the boy and I should be giving the 206 a FBSM, sudsy rubdown, and once over.

BTW, by the calendar,....Spring shows up one day earlier due to that long February.

        God bless all of you....

Ugh, was at the river today for a season meeting. 45 degrees, overcast and breezy. A typical Central PA mid-winter crap day. Hopefully the better days are arriving soon.

it was right at 40 F this morning in H town with this last front. I just waked outside my house and I can smell some neighbors have fireplaces going. lmao.

it is 52 right now and quite chilly.

Actually, the sunsets stay the same (8:34) in Sacramento for over a week. Crazy! I just looked it up on timeanddate.com. Pretty interesting for nerds like me. I learned all kinds of stuff. I never realized that the sun sets here at about the same time for a month. Weird...

Correct, your sunset is staying basically the the same for the next few days but your sunrise is getting a little later.....

Gave up on the cold in Michigan. I can only take so much white stuff. Flew to Orlando with my son this morning for 5 days of wake boarding. Feels like summer here.
