Anyone rode behind a Centurion or know much about them?

My buddy is looking hard at a used 06 Cenurion Avalanche C4. No one we know has rode behind one to know much about how the wake looks and how durable they are. I dont believe it has a wedge, but other than that its in great shape and seems loaded. If you have had experience with one let me hear your comments.

I have ridden behind one and drriven one. The dealership I worked at actually was looking at them to take on their line for 2009 but that fell through with poor sales in 2008. They are alright boats in my opinion. Not too fancy nor do they hold value on resale as good as a nautique but a good all around boat for the price. The wake was nice, I compared it very similar to a Tige Wake. The main thing I did not like was the deeper v the boat has especially at the rear. When a rider cuts in really hard the driver needs to compensate on the steering or the boat will list over more than any other boat I have been on. Ride was good and the wake was nice. I believe the one I was in had factory and then 400 lbs of lead and 5 people in it. The front will dip in from time to time if your not careful.

If this guy was really your friend, you would tell him to look for a Classic Super Air. My understanding is that Centurions still use wood in the floors, but I could very well be wrong.

I have owned 2 and they are fine if you never plan on driving a Nautique. I hade a chance to drive one last year for the first time since I sold mine and it felt like a big POS. I would highly recommend if not a Nautique then a Malibu or a Mastercraft.
