    TAP Plastics

I was just down at TAP Plastics today looking at some 1/2" King StarBoard for an amp and stereo install. You can order it online through TAP here...

    http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=344&

I think it runs about $12-$13 sq. ft. for 1/2" thick. I checked out the various thicknesses...the 3/8" is too light (for my project) and 3/4" is way too thick. I was hoping for 5/8" but 1/2" is the closest available.

    What is your project?

I called around our area to a few plastics suppliers and lucked into a 4"x8" of 1/2" I used to replace the wood on my trailer. It wasn't King Starboard (different brand) but it was some stock someone ordered and didn't pick up so I got it for about $110. In replacing the carpeted, rotted out wood on my trailer it has worked out fantastic.

It is some pretty expensive stuff, tho.
