For the first time in history the commander and chief will not attend the memorial day ceremony at Arlington and place the wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier. He is going to Chicago insted. This is shameful IMO.

Shameful is right,That guy makes me sick.He's basically ruining our country.Our children our pretty much scr@#ed.And the pass that the main stream media gives him makes me even sicker.Can you imagine the reaming GWB would have gotten if he would have tried something like that.Not that he would.I admit he was not the greatest pres. but the direction we are headed in right now is down right scary. -

I voted for the presidential election ticket who has a person who served in the military, and had a vice president who probably has a lot more experience on what to do with an oil spill in the territory you are governing.Comment

He may not be the first, but it's still disgraceful. The tomb of the unknown solider represents all fallen veterans. If others in the past didn't honor the tradition without a good reason, then it's disgraceful then too. BHO may have a good reason, but on past history I doubt it. I also don't believe he's 'in Chicago at another national cemetery'. obama sucks. all his health reform has/will do is make kids either not want to be a doctor and make current ones either quit, leave the country, or not improve techniques or facilities. june 1 medicare payments to doctors will but cut 21%. and they were already only being reimburse from an old antiquated scale. and he is best buds with goldman, has not addressed immigration, does not seem so intelligent speaking on current issues as he was with campaign speeches, i am not 100% convinced he was born in america, we are still in iraq(im not saying we shouldnt be, but he promised we wouldn't be), has a horrible cadence when he speaks, and so on and so forth. is there a single democrat on this site? i'm personally a fiscal republican and socially moderate. i just want what is best. i don't side with a party just because im a member. i wish real republicans were still around. not theocratic conservatives and i wish we didn't have the most liberal senator as president. sorry for the rant. it's raining and my power just came back on a minute ago.Comment

I, too, hate spreading misinformation. I hate that our president continues to tell us that healthcare is popular, needed, and won't bankrupt our country. I hate that our president campaigned as the great unifier, but has governed as the most left-wing president since Roosevelt. I hate that he and his party continue to put down our allies: Israel, Columbia, Poland and bows down to the likes of Venezuala, Saudi Arabia and China. I hate that I will be paying more income taxes despite not making more than $250k. I could go on...
Not that I feel that strongly about it.
