First winch build in the books

Yes I have for only a few hours, we just got snow back this last week. I've been building a kicker the last few nights hoping to hit it this weekend!

do you really think that 6.5 hp is enough for this work?
you should use a more powerful motor for this kind of work

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you think you have into it?

A 6.5 with correct gears and spool inner diameter is plenty. I sold mine that had a stage 1 hop up kit, tav 2 and 58t sprocket and it deep water started up to approximately 210lbs And went about 23mph or fasterwith a 6" spool inner.

It ended up being around $825. Thats with the brake set up and thumb throttle I added after I posted this.
