    Casey Anthony verdict

Was her defense lawyer or team some big shot who took it pro Bono or was he legal aid? I can almost understand OJ getting off bc of his high priced team, but not this compulsive liar slut bag. Any trial lawyers thoughts here? I know I wasn't in the court room, but come on with this not guilty crap.

i work at a criminal defense firm. most of our lawyers felt she would not be convicted of the felony murder. since that is what the prosecution hammered at most, they were not surprised that she was not found guilty on the lesser murder counts. i didn't see much of the trial, but from what i saw in their closing arguments the defense made a compelling appeal that the state did not prove she killed the child. it appeared at best they had a lot of evidence that showed she appeared guilty, but not really anything to prove it.

I'm tired of everyone blaming the jury! Either there wasn't enough evidence to convict her or the Prosecution didn't do their job!!!!

My thoughts. Guilty beyond any reasonable doubt, was not proven.

That does not mean she is innocent.
