So, that 5.8 earthquake that happened today had its epicenter less than 20 miles from my house. The nuclear power plant in the news (North Anna) is on MY LAKE!

We're still getting some pretty good aftershocks. We just had a 4.5. Pretty crazy stuff for the East Coast!

We felt it down here in Raleigh. News said tremors were felt from NC to Albany, NY. Stay safe up there.

Yeah, we just had another pretty strong aftershock. This is crazy. I bet we've had about ten aftershocks that I have felt. Two have been pretty strong.

Felt it in Iowa, our building swayed back and forth ever so slightly for about a minute. It was crazy!

I've never experienced that excitement....and don't care to.

felt it in NC, but it was over before we could say 'what was that'. Also I work around heavy machinery so we just thought something was driving by.

Cbus got a little shake as well. Buildings swayed causing some companies to evacuate. Jeff -- Hope your place is OK.

My place has some cracks on the ceiling, a landscaping wall fell down, and there is some separation of the front steps (outside) from the ground. Yesterday we had a huge storm come through. Trees are down everywhere and power was out for most people here for hours last night. Tomorrow the hurricane arrives. Should be fun (or something)...
