    Longboarding

I learned Coleman slides today. Super fun. Only got thrown out the front once.

Have you ever been on those trucks before? I have not, but from what I've read most like regular bushing style trucks. What do you want to do with the board? Motionboardshop.com has lots of cool informational videos. If you call them and explain your goals they will recommend a setup and give you some nice bushings for your weight/purposes. As far as boards I like loaded tan tien, landyachtz switch, and some of the rayne boards. For trucks go with randal rII 180mm on pretty much any setup. Made in America and nice. I like abec 11 retro freeride wheels, but the 4 pres will be awesome. If you want to start sliding I'd get some stimulus though, probably 80a. If you plan to slide you'll be mad you didn't get a slidey wheel in the beginning. I am on a sector 9 burleigh with 180mm trucks and the 83a retro free ride wheels, and a venom standard bushing set. Hope to get a landyachtz switch 37, randal 180 trucks, and probably otang durians soon. Sorry for the rant. Still pumped from sliding earlier. ALWAYS wear a helmet, and knee/elbow pads if it's your prerogative. Oh, and slide gloves(leather) are a good investment.

I have the 80a 4Prez wheels on a Landyachtz Pinner and an Earthwing Belly Carver and love them. I mostly just cruise around, but really like them.

        Nice work on the Coleman!

Will iterate never ride without at least a helmet. Know of a kid that was killed several years ago going without a helmet. He had been riding for years. Sad stuff.

Check out Silverfiish Longboard Forum. Tons of info over there.
