That's radical. Aren't you bored to death flying big jets now?
The only time I got really really jealous at someone's job was when a guy came riding with me that flies F16's.
        Dammit. Bastard.

I have an 03 mustang cobra running a KB SC about 20 psi. Ran 10.7 last year with a DA of 4500 ft. Stock trans stock IRS stock block.

Funny thing I have no interest in it now sits in my garage with a dead battery since the boat areived.

If you and the guy in the left lane switched cars it might run a 10.5, lol

Reaction time does not effect the time the car actually runs the timer does not "trip" until your front tires roll through the light beam tripping the sensor and the time starts. So I could have sat there 10 sec and my time would be the same although I would lose the race to a car running anything faster then 19 sec.

This particular run I was only interested in going fast not a good reaction time although admittedly my reaction time is usually horrible.

Looks like shes got a little left in her with that 131mph trap speed . What tire are you running to cut a 1.6xx on stock rear suspension?

I had an Infiniti G35 which wasn't incredibly fast but it was so quick and nimble that it was awesome to drive. I would put just above a stock mustang for speed. I now have a Cadillac CTS (with the direct injection 3.6) which is kind of the same way but just a smidge more muscle so it tops out a bit quicker.

Pretty much stock suspension. Stock IRS 1/2 shafts polyurethane bushings for the differential and subframe connectors. Maximum Motorsport's rear tie rods.

Tires are 28x12 MT ET STREETS (basically a slick) on a 15 in weld wheel and skinnies up front.

Took some grinding on the rear spindles to get them to clear.

She could go a little faster but she no longer is the love of my life so all my extra dollars now go to the 206 :-)

I haven't been down a track in probably 4 years. Last vehicle I owned that made a pass was not made by me haha.

Cars are very fun but you can't go hang out in a car all day with 5 or 6 of your friends and girls tend to not wear bikinis in cars haha. I've had that blue car since I was 15 but I would sell it in a minute if presented the idea of leaving boating.

That is true. I'll never forget: summer of '85 (high school) in South Texas. I lived about 30 minutes from the beach and I was in my home town pumping gas at the local Maverick Market. I heard some girls hollering at me and it was Michelle and Teresa in Teresa's Camaro. I went over and stuck my head in on Michelle's side and they were both wearing bikini's. They wanted me to go in the store and get them some cigarettes. (They said they were embarrassed.) They were on their way to the beach. I was on my way to work (the story of my life).

They were both thick, tanned, and oh so delicious. I knew these girls almost my whole life and man I'll tell you that moment changed me for life. I never thought of them the same. I wonder how they'd look today lounging in my 206 or gettin' a cold one out of the back of my supercrew.

Zach - you've learned a lot faster than me.

Now thinking back, I got them the cigarettes....I can't remember if they gave me any money or not. I bet I got stuck with the bill. Well, it was worth it.

Not exactly fast, picture is of my wife racing the car, its a 1970 MG Midget, 1275 cc and 65 hp. We have owned this for approximately 20 years.
Have had great fun circuit racing for many years.
Car is currently being reconstructed as the dreaded tin worms took a hold, hopefully back up and running by the summer.

Fun car. If I ever get back to racing a car on any regularity it will be something other then the 1320.

AirTool, I caught on pretty fast when I was the only guy in college with a boat haha. Our college experience was sort of unreal in that we were on the water starting a 2pm after class every week day when it was warm enough. We always had 10-20 people out at the lake. I can't imagine not doing that now that I had. We had a pretty die hard group of guys and gals some of which are still my best friends today. My boat was as much a team member as anyone. It was requested for 3 seasons after it had retired for team pictures haha.

Cars never got me any chicks. Boats did a much better job. Even my red 73' 911 T never got much interest from the ladies.

281, I'm with you my 1320 days are going to be few even after I freshen up the motor again. I really would love to get the truck paid for and pick up a mid 90's R/T-10 Viper to play on the twisties with. Stock form it will be faster in the 1/4 than the blue car anyways.

A little BSU Nostalga to break the winter blues for you fellas.
