Probably a wake up call that they should be wearing life vests while wakeskating and riding jet skis. Good that no one got hurt.

guys in the crash weren't part of the shoot - just dudes riding around. Yes, agree life vest and watersports go well together...

I have long though jet skiers use up all their available brain power in using the opposable digit to operate the throttle, and have none left over for any other analytical analysis.

they are very lucky that no one appears to have been seriously injured.

I thought I was cool now that I can Ollie. Those guys are incredible. Why no jackets? Seems a bit risky

Definitely need a jacket wakeskating; especially if you're just starting out. Way too easy to catch the board with your head when you fall.

I got clocked in the face last year with a surfboard. The tail of the board caught me square in the nose and I'm pretty sure it was broken. The fin caught me in the teeth and ripped my gum open pretty badly. I felt very fortunate that I didn't lose any teeth or get knocked out, but it could very easily have happened. My gums bled all day. It dazed me pretty bad to the point that I definitely wouldn't have wanted to be in the water without a vest. I did break the tip of the fin off the board with my teeth though!
