    2012 MasterCraft PS 197

    What do you guys think?
I personally think the tower and the windshield looks hideous.
Is that a shock on the tower as well?

Ya they threw that tower out last year, I'm not a big fan of how it looks but it does fold down to absolutely nothing... a major plus for some folks. The windshield has a sleek look but with any cross chop you're getting wet. I've always been more about utility than anything.

Love the colors though, real clean. I've always been a MC fan, great boats.

Why would you put a tower on a competition ski boat?

That's a Prostar 214V, so it's not really a competition ski boat. It was AWSA approved, but...

They did stay somewhat true to form for the windshield not wrapping around. But WOW that point looks dangerous. They must not have shown that design to the lawyers....it won't last long.

The 214 has been out for a few years now, and I too am surprised they still have that sword for a windshield.

He's right, it's a ProStar 214 V-Drive. It's bigger than the 197. And yes, the tower designs now stink!!
