That's nothing. I used the snowblower to get rid of about 6" of snow from my driveway in Mansfield, OH. It's still snowing.....I thought I would be mowing grass soon with skiing not far behind....oh well....
I put my boat in the water for the first time this year on Tuesday and even put the wakeboard on for a set in 43 degree water (the plus was it was over 70 in the air)
put the dock's in yesterday and couldn't resist taking a lap around the lake in a friends '79 Nautique! It was cold and still well worth it!!!! (Don't get my SV211 until the 23rd due to the recall! ARggghhh)

I went down to Lake Cumberland to get the trailer opened for the summer. Didn't have the boat and it was in the high 70's! Water was still in the 50's
aoblak -- I dipped a foot in the water and about froze! I hope you had a dry suit, or at least a wet suit. You got more b***s than me to try it in that weather! Than again if you keep going maybe you don't <grin>

We have the potential of receiving up to 12" of snow tonight and tomorrow! It was 80 earlier this week and I was dreaming of skiing when I was mowing the grass at the lake house. Oh well, I guess I can wait a little longer...........
CHassmann,
I here you... I could have had my new SV211 that I've been "patiently" waiting on since I ordered in last July!!! It came in to the Marina in November.. I planned to pick it up 2 weekends ago, but that D*#@ Recall got in the way! so TODAY was the day... it is 38degrees, with a forecast of 3-5" of Snow! So I cancelled picking it up.. hoping for a monday afternoon pickup now! From NE Indiana!
BKHallpass.. thanks for rubbing it in! you're cruel!

Well, we did get our own little freak thunder storm that rolled
through here the past two days. Nothing like our friends in
the North, but an unexpected storm nonetheless.
This should be the last storm of the year. We have the
opening day boat parade next Saturday here in Discovery
Bay.
Where bouts in Discovery Bay are you? I used to live off of sand point (near the south entrance), but now live in the south bay (miss it a ton). However, I was out last Saturday (May 7). Morning water was glass, and it warmed up pretty good by the afternoon. Sunday was a little wet though.
