Need some ideas about some new shades. I lost my Maui Jim's at Possum Kingdom on Labor day. I don't want to go back to what I had for the past three years but everything else seems cheaply made. I have checked out several brands Spy, Oakley, etc. all look really cool but once you wear them out in the sun they seem to have cheapo lenses. Any ideas?????

I love my Oakley gas cans. The polarized lenses are quality. Check out Electric http://electric.surffanatics.com/Electric_Accessories

Another vote for Costa's. They are the best I have found in mass produced sunglasses. If you truely are looking for a high quality lens, contact your local Optician and order up glass polarized lens. Nothing has better optics than a glass lens.'09 SV211

Costa's with the glass lens, I've had the same pair since 2002, they have "rebuilt or replaced" them under warranty for me a couple times.2005 Ski Nautique 206 SE, Acme 422, PP SG 8.0, ND Tower

5 years ago I ordered a set and upgraded to polarized. But the last set i went with the g whatever non-polarized. With so many plastics in our lives, wearing Polaroids daily is a pain. you can't read your phone, the truck speedo has spots, the other cars' windows have purple dots and all sorts of LSD type things.
So now I have two sets. G whatever for everyday and smoke Polaroids for the water. Both are the same frame.

Kaenon is the best I have used by far. I have Maui Jim and Oakley. Kaenon's SR-91 technology is cutting edge. I use the c-12 light transmission for high sunlight. The contrast is amazing...just my .02 - since my LASIK surgery years ago (still 20/20) it seems like my eyes are more sensitive. After nautiques, sunglasses are my thing.

Been an Okley fan for 25 years but with four pairs at the bottom of the lake would like to have my $600 back. In my younger foolish days, I used to ski in them to protect the contacts but the floaties wouldn't always work. Thanks to lasik life is better but I still would like to find good quality lenses without the hiped up advertising costs included in the price.2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop

I wear Gatorz and have had one pair for over 4 years. Great shades that feel good and don't break.
I personally like the aluminum ones. I wear the radiator style

I can't bring myself to spend $200 on sunglasses ever again. Inevitably they end up in the lake, or the baby gets a hold of them, or they get sat on, etc. Seems the more expensive they are, the faster they are gone. I bought 3 pairs of Coleman (yes, that Coleman) polarized glasses for under $100 online and like them. Keep one pair in the boat and another in each car so I always have them when I want them.
