So my yukon needs a new front differential, new rear calipers and pads, new front pads, new a/c belt, and transfer case fluid changed. Holy lord it's not what I was expecting to hear today.

why would it need a front diff? ran low on fluid? the rest of the stuff is routine maintenance than can be done in 2 hours in a driveway and should cost you about $250 in parts. if nothing else, now you know how bad you're getting pounded.

I've had two different people tell me I have front diff. Problems. The tech asked me about it when we were taking a ride without me ever having mentioned it. And from what I've read, the awd on the yukons can fail easily. I don't feel like having it lock up at speed. I'm keeping her forever. I'll get a little rwd IS in a couple years as a daily driver.
