    Anybody a CAD designer?

I have a steel ak-47 magazine is like to have replicated(final product in steel). The reason I'm asking for help in this endeavor is because it is a Chinese 5.56 NATO chambered ak-47. The magazines are few and far between and cost up to $100. Anyway, I have only one magazine. Is it cost feasible to produce a handful, or more? I'd really like 8, but I am not really sure how the start to finish on cad to product works. Thanks a lot. I'm also not sure of any prohibiting laws, but I'll look it up.

Cost will most likely be very high. The cad design is not the issue, rather the tooling to actually produce. I imagine that it is a pair of stampings welded together on the seams. The stamping dies would cost thousands of dollars. It is not easy at all to do a curved magazine shape with press brakes and other hand metal forming tools.

Thanks. I guess I'll just have to hunt online auctions and gun shows. My buddy has an industrial 3d printer at work. I might see if he will make me a "plastic" one and see if that works, if its even possible. AK's are supposed to be easy darnit.
