    is anyone following the zimmerman case?

    thoughts? i'd love to hear from some litigators.

    Shouldn't have made it into court. Prosecution has no case for 2nd degree murder or manslaughter. This is a political which hunt, nothing more. If he's convicted, it will be a miscarriage of justice.

    The jury is charged with acquitting an innocent man at the same time inciting riots and opening themselves up to a lifetime of harassment of being a racist if not worse.

      This is nothing more than another excuse for gun control. George excersised his second amendment right to defend himself and will probably be convicted. If this was black on black it wouldn't have even made the local paper.

              I agree it's a political witch hunt. This case is purely based on politics. Unfortunately our legal system contains predominately left wing liberals. They want to make a point with this case by publicizing it beyond what it should ever be.
              Trust me they won't get egg in the face. They are more concerned about there own reputation than the justice of an innocent man.

                My wife just sent me an email (I'm on the edge of nowhere) "Zimmerman not guilty"

                IMO the state owes him big time. If is wasn't for the jury system and reasonable doubt, the gov't could come after us for anything.

                Even the way it is, you can be destroyed forever even if you win the battle.

                OT: progress in Texas on abortion laws.

                    Good call(s). Unfortunately though, often times the jury box gets stuffed by the government. And I've seen several times when it's someone against the state, the judge is prejudice against the person as the judge gets paid by the state.

                    He definitely deserves his money back.

                        Holy crap....the spin begins.

                        I'm out of the country and wonder what spin-NN and spin-BC are saying today.

                        PS- got my CHL in the mail last week. That doesn't mean I'm going to start carrying...just means I'm now going to be legal. I've had a handgun with me since I was 18 (a long time ago) and on several occasions needed it...but never fired it.

                              Our president is such a piece of ****. Honor a criminal that was killed by an innocent man, who acted in self defense? He should be apologizing to Zimmerman and his family for the bs they've put him through.

                              And that wasn't gun violence. That was a gun saving a man's life. Unfortunately we will never know how many crimes were prevented by that thug being offed.
