I'm not sure if they'll surface under this thread, but there are many PN members with some wicked cars. Clemsondave's Vette comes to mind. He has some youtube footage of it on the track, and it's a beast.

I just picked up a new Jetta TDI for commuting, and I gotta brag about the 700 miles per tank I'm getting

I'm only running 6 pounds, so that turbo is barely working. Car runs 10.5's at 130. One of these days I'll turn the boost up and see what happens. With no cage I'm already too fast so I usually only get a pass or two before getting kicked off the track.

I have a 6 second all-track Supra, a 9 sec. Supra, and a 9 sec. R35 GT-R. Both 9 sec. cars are true street cars, my R35 is my daily driver. I built the world's first non-American 8 second car in 2001 (a Supra), but I sold that a long time ago.

Despite my quick 1/4mile cars, I'm actually a road-racer by heart. Unfortunately road-racing doesn't draw in the customers though, so I drag race when I have to. Anyone can spend a boat-load (pun intended) of money, put their right foot to the floor, and run a quick 1/4 mile though. Real talent shows in the corners.

NHRA tracks are super picky. We have 2 1/4mile tracks within 90 minutes, we always go to the one that's not NHRA certified. As long as we aren't being jackasses they let us run.
Its a shame you haven't had a chance to stretch her legs, I'm sure you have a high-9 car if you turn up the boost and hook up for a good 60'.
