Hahaha exactly what I thought. I started thinking about how they do that and I think a lot if is in the jet-skis themselves. I think it's way over powered and if they lean back and hit the gas hard it just flips them over.

Eh... It's still jetskiing. Riding the motox back-flip bandwagon just a bit you think? Was disappointed I didn't see a double back-flip. A few of those were high enough to at least make an attempt.

Drunk people, a jet ski and a pool...now that sounds like a recipe for disaster! ;-)

That is pretty cool and doing that many consecutive flips is pretty impressive regardless of what they're riding.

I was in attendance at the event and am making plans to go to this years event Oct 12th. That was only the stand up freestyle. There is so much more. It was a fun time. We spent a lot of time on Lake Havasu riding, but took some time to watch some events.

Those guys are running 1200cc motors and they have a lever to pull that makes the nozzle pitch up which is how they get the drive for the flip.

I saw this video on YouTube showing a couple of boats driving side by side about 10 feet apart or so, and the jetski rider would ride toward them and go inbetween the two boats and hit where the two wakes converged....That would be fun to try with a couple of sacked out boats going at surf wake speed

Those skis run five figures plus. Usually CF hulls that weigh nothing and wild motors making upwards of 180hp. Like the previous poster said, they also have trim that allows them to plant the nose where they need it prior to launch.

Notice how they create the wake then spin around and launch off of it. These guys have amazing skills to be able to pull that off in general, let alone in a confined space like a pool surrounded by drunks.

                        Impressive.
