I was in attendance at the event and am making plans to go to this years event Oct 12th. That was only the stand up freestyle. There is so much more. It was a fun time. We spent a lot of time on Lake Havasu riding, but took some time to watch some events.

I saw this video on YouTube showing a couple of boats driving side by side about 10 feet apart or so, and the jetski rider would ride toward them and go inbetween the two boats and hit where the two wakes converged....That would be fun to try with a couple of sacked out boats going at surf wake speed

Those skis run five figures plus. Usually CF hulls that weigh nothing and wild motors making upwards of 180hp. Like the previous poster said, they also have trim that allows them to plant the nose where they need it prior to launch.
Notice how they create the wake then spin around and launch off of it. These guys have amazing skills to be able to pull that off in general, let alone in a confined space like a pool surrounded by drunks.
Impressive.
