Ford F-150 Mirror Change

This may belong on a truck forum but I'll ask here first because this is my forum home.

I changed my 2005 Ford F-150 Lariat mirrors with trailer mirrors from a 2008 Ford F-150. I lost the heated mirrors but gained viability which I love! The power to adjust them works and turn signal lights on the mirrors blink but are very weak. It is almost like there is not enough voltage or amps. Does anyone know what may be causing it?

Just a random guess, but check the grounds.

Visibility not viability. Sometimes autocorrect drives me crazy. One letter different but a big difference in meaning. I'm not ready to be hooked up to a battery yet. :-)

Daniel is on it. Probably grounds. Usually a weak ground makes for dim and slow to respond lights.

Yep it was that simple, cleaned the connectors and all is good. Thanks
