    Boat Withdrawal

Anybody else going through boat withdrawals? Last summer was my first summer with our 211, and man, I'm kinda missing going out and sitting in it with a cool one and listening to some music, maybe doing a little cleaning or polishing. The weather is warming up a bit up here, and it's got me hoping for an early spring, which is totally opposite of what I'm usually hoping for. I'm usually hoping for a late spring so that it extends my snowmobiling season in the mountains. C'mon Spring!

just got back from the Caribbean...All I could think about on the drive from the airport is getting the boat in the water.

It is surreal listening to news reports about how cold it is, flights canceled, cars stuck in ditches, shoveling snow, and I am changing my oil in the driveway in shorts and a t-shirt and I have been on the water nearly every weekend since last summer. Its not all fun and games though I have had to do a lot of more maintenance this winter than usual and it hasn't left much time for "Winter" projects.

All seriousness though the lack of cool weather and rain this winter in the desert southwest might become a big deal as the summer rolls in when the lake levels are low earlier that usual and if it stays above average all year it will be unbearably hot...

Get a winter sport and quit your pissing and moaning. It made all the difference in the world to me, snowboarding. You dress right and you don't even feel cold.

Boating is great. But it is nice to switch gears for a few months.

Well...aren't you just a ray of sunshine, lol..not really sure where there is any "pissing and moaning" going on, but whatever pins your hair back.

We're probably heading down to Lake Havasu in April for a short holiday, we have some friends that have a house down there I'll be able to get a quick board and surf fix while we're down there, buddy keeps is X Star down there during the winter months. Gotta admit that I'm looking forward to it

not well said, but accurate. I snowboard from the time the boat is put away until it comes back out again in the spring. used to do the dry suit, but it sucks the fun right out of it for me...

Fly home in June. Cant wait. This forum helps for sure-
I would love to have a few weekends on the sled, I miss the snow, certainly not the below 0 weather.

Worse! My 2014 210 has been delivered and is taunting me while we suffer low 30's, wintry precip, etc!

Well, we rolled into Lake Havasu yesterday afternoon... -22 Celsius when we left the house Friday morning and +30 Celsius when we got here...so nice. It was pretty windy today so we didn't launch today, the wind has died down now as I'm sitting by the pool with an ice cold MGD, so we'll shoot for a launch tomorrow. I'm just happy to be sitting outside at 10 pm in shorts and a t-shirt.
