Who lives in North or South Carolina. The Dodge dealership i'm at now is selling and were open to moving elsewhere, out of California. Maybe a lakefront property. Any suggestions
I'm in Virginia, but I frequent the NC lakes quite a bit. What you need to do is go to www.endofropegang.com and post this question there. You should get lots of good responses over there. EORG is a big group of NC, SC and VA riders.

I live in the charlotte area of NC.We have lakes Norman, Wylie and Mtn. Island within about 30 miles of each other. The Raleigh area has a few lakes as well as the Greensboro area. All but a few have lakefront property available on them.
Hi,
I'm in the Charlotte area of NC. It's probably the largest Metro area, but those in the RTP (Raleigh area) may differ. Yellow_Flash_Colorz: Charlotte has 3 main lakes, with other options if you decide to live a little farther out.
You may also check out Anderson/Greenville SC, growing area with a large lake (Hartwell), and a smaller nice lake (Keowee)

hundo, I live on Lake Norman just north of Charlotte, NC. Great place to boat with 500 plus mile of shoreline.....as for the Dodge dealership, Lake Norman Chrysler / Jeep / Dodge is located right off I-77 in Cornelius. They are in the process of completing a huge renovation / expansion. I'd give them a call. Here's there phone number 704-896-3800. Let me know if you need any other info.
Thanks, I'm looking at a dealer in Lake Wylie also. I have never been to The Carolina's but have heard great things, and it looks beautiful. Just not use to the 90% humidity? We get about 60% and 100 degrees. It looks like you can get a lot more house for your money thats for sure, just wondering what the wages will be in my field. Its probably all relative though.
Yeah, I saw the discussion over there. I knew that would be the place to go for the info you wanted. The people at EORG are great!

Were flying out on Thursday night (7/28/05) and staying until Monday night. Were going to check out the Wylie lake area first then head up towards Lake Norman. Weather looks like thunderstorms for the week but 100 still :-) Were use to the 100's out here with 30% humidity not 90% , so that will be the test for us. If we do make the move I think I will have the boat shrink wrapped and put the cover on. Our toys will be a challenge , boat , 2 seadoo's 2 motorcycle's. The wife wants us to rent a motorhome to make it easy on our cats and dog.
2800 miles would be the journey, I think i'll buy some of that 3m clear bra stuff to put on the trailer so it does'nt get all chipped. I wish I could afford to have the boat shipped there that would be nice.
So the Dodge dealer in the automall is selling? If so....sorry to hear. Good luck with the move and post some pics once you find a place on a lake. If you don't mind, post some average prices too. I'm always looking for another reason to move out of California.
We'll be down in NC this weekend too. Let me know if you're going to be up near Kerr Lake. We'll be there Thursday through Monday.

Hundo, I live in the Mooresville area on the east side of Lake Norman, right off I-77. I'd be happy to show you around the area or give you a look at the Lake by boat. If interested, send me a PM and I will give you my contact info. I can also put you touch with a good realtor in the area if you need one.
I'm in Charlotte as well...I'm at the BMW dealership here, and there is a Dodge store up the street and a few more over on the south side of town. there is any kind of dealer you want here if you're looking for a change. I ride down on Wylie every week and I can tell you that I prefer it to Norman b/c of the roughness of the water. Norman has all of the "well to doer's" with the huge boats causing extremely choppy water and its tough to get through in my smaller boat. Don't get me wrong, Wylie gets a bit rough on the weekends, but you can usually find some calm water somewhere...if you need any info on the dealerships around here, just give me a shout...good luck with the move!!!
