    A couple of stocks

I'm trying to decided if and how much stock to buy of Bio Mira Inc. (BIOM) It's at $1.32 right now. They supposidly have a cure for breast cancer, or will soon.

I bought a few hundred shares of Sirius Sat. Radio (SIRI) back in the summer, anticipating it going up when Ford started to put it standard in thir cars. Fool.com listed it in it's top 4 stocks to buy in 2006 two or three weeks ago. It's lower now than it has been in a long time to... I think I might buy some more, but I can't decide! hehe. Either way I think I'll be ok with them though.

Anyone here have any helpful advice for me? hehe.

    RE: A couple of stocks

Your BIOM is in a very, very, very longterm downtrend, so either you got it at a great discount or you just caught a falling knife. Traders know if they have a breast cancer cure, if and when it will come to market and have factored it into the price, the big money is the smart money. SIRI is about as diluted as a stock can get, any idea how many people would have to buy sat radio before they will turn a profit? SIRI is a big momuntum play, you may get a bump when stern starts over there, but its prob already factored in. Sometimes averaging down (buying more as the stock price declines) will help you get back to the black, but be careful throwing good money after bad, can be irritating. Dont buy more than you can afford to lose on these types of irrational stocks.
Search for companies that make money qtr after qtr, have decent volume, are leaders in the technology, insiders are aquiring shares, low short position, companys that are not overpaying execs. Dont forget to spend a little time researching and studying past history of the stock, dont just buy because someone gave you a tip. tips are useally worth what you pay for them, but cost you a lot more. Try to get good companies and not to hit the home run, your odds will improve. Good Luck.
