I would assume so, but I don't know for sure. I considered one of those a few months ago, and was surprised to find out that it had such a low tow rating. It sits quite a bit lower than a standard WK Grand, so I would think that the low rating is probably due to the suspension.

This has been bugging me, so at the risk of turning myself as someone who is completely ignorant about fast cars and powerful engines, what was the "special pic for [us] guys"? I was fully expecting a half-nude hotty laying all over this hot rod. Did our beloved Site Admin. staff take down such a picture? Just tell me there is a big inside joke here of which I am obviously unaware; I am also struggling to see how this thread falls under General Nautique Discussion, but am willing to play along...

Wow Mike - great car, pix, and good to see your dad is doing well!!

Rhode - Mike's dad had heart surgery about 2 months ago. He asked for guys on the site to say a quick prayer, we did, and the first picture is a Thank You to all who participated - his dad is well now. His comment " a special pic for you guys" was meant for those who prayed for his dad. I see what you mean though - initially it looks like a lead into something HOT.

Maybe if you ask nicely, Mike and his dad will put on sporty "nano hammi's" and lean on the car for the next pic!?! Huh, what do you think? Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

Thanks for the clarification about this thread; I was confused and apoligize to all for promting its removal from General Nautique Discussion. Nothing is more fundamental to enjoying our Nautiques than a healthy heart, so it great to hear Mr. Malloy had successful heart surgery.

One of my best wakeboard buddies and reformed water skier, who is 56, had to get a "splint" put into his heart earlier this year. It was a great news when I heard that the procedure went off without a hitch. He and I spent more time riding with each other than we had done in years this past summer behind his sacked-out direct drive '92 Nautique w/tower (while my inferior wake-making '05 VLX sat on a trailer behind my house while I scrambled to get back to CC mother's milk).

Again, thanks for the explanation, congratulations to the Mallow family and apoligies for disupting this thread in newby-like fashion.
