    Your Pet-Peeve

Saw a post on Team Master Craft Owners about this, seemed pretty interesting, so I thought'd it be cool to see what all of our Biggest Pet-Peeves are... Everyone's got one...

As for mine, I could go on for days, but to name a few, dirty/sandy feet, holding boat too close to dock--dock rash, eating/drinking, sliding fins on boards and skis over vynal and gelcoat--scratching, banging boards on transom on platform while putting feet in--scratching, and one of the biggest, not having COMPLETE control of the music--volume & song choice when driving....

Transom bashing, I actually sit on the back and make sure some people don't bash the transom. Other then that all I want is respect, shoes off, clean up after yourself, help get the boat centered in the lift/ catch it on the dock.
    How about \"Chales\"?

nano hammi's, waverunners in my windshield or mirror, ropes around the driveshaft, low bridges, unbalanced load (unless we're surfin'), water over-the-nose, kids who don't ride and only want to tube and the wife is too nice to say "sorry you can't go", cigarette boats and drivers with little weeniies, people who want the the bimini up - no down - no up - no down, people who wine about getting down the hill or up the hill or in the boat or paying for gas, mocho guys driving Rinkers full of chicks, ....

I don't know, I am pretty easy to get along with - I will have to think about it - Ha!

ooooo, this seems like a perfect opprotunity to react in a harsh and un-human-like mannar, and go off on a rant on how you are wrong and I bet my anal self and my rules together have more fun than you trying to have fun, which would by page 3 turn into a topic regarding how people care for their boats, and by page #5, of us arguing on what is right and not right about how to care for our boats, we'd all realize that it doesn't matter how we care for our boats because we each have our own styles of the Nautique Life, meanwhile, there will be Old Fart making fun of us all with his whimsical comments, Rhode and Speck will find something totally off-topic to discuss, and then by page #7, somone will realize that this has gone way off-topic from the original subject, "Your Pet-Peeve," and then start the thread all over again from the beginning. Someone will say, "this threas sucks and should die," and then someone will say "no its good let it be, ***-hole," and then Luke or Jeff, whoever's online at the time, will lock it and make us look like idiots. As much fun as that would be, I am not going to take that choice, and instead, save all the trouble and space, and just say "... its all good..."

And that's the rundown of how topics evolve online...

                EndList

                Take care...

                  Nice Answer!

My spin on the CC slogan "Life is short, Live it":

Life is too short to be so anal!

Beer drinking, the occasional boat that drives by with topless girls, smoking on the swin deck, thongs, peeing off the bow, no-one on the lake, they left tube at home!, the occasional boat that drives by with topless girls, people who leave gas money, people who help wipe down the boat, the occasional boat that drives by with topless girls, the hot-chick who needs lotioning AGAIN, not a cloud in the sky, that guy who wants the stereo loud!, sex, running out of cheetos and grape pop, the "safety" guy, an empty launch ramp, the occasional boat that drives by with topless girls, when the wife wants to have an all ladies day, but needs a driver, your cousin forgets his sheep dog, jumping off the tower, jet ski's that think that your wake is too small, friends that bring too much beer, and lastly, the occasional boat that drives by with topless girls.
The person who said \"Money can\'t buy happiness\" never rode behind an \"OLD\" 210.

My pet peeve is when a high school- or college-aged kid shows up late or not at all to go wakeboarding for whatver reason after commiting to ride. My younger friends who have a tendency to get "banged up" the night before will often times get repeated phone calls the evening before about responsible drinking. They have also been know to get taunted mercilessly on the boat after a particularly bad trangression. Also, I've heard so many "the dog ate my homework" type of excuses over the years it is not even funny. The other one that bugs me to no end is when I am told that someone's alarm clock did not go off. Like the Japanese electronics industry is still working out bugs in alarm clock technology, give me a break. Lastly, a big pet peeve is the dude who is so wrapped up in NFL football that he will only ride on Sunday mornings; don't dare asking him to miss a game on a really warm fall Sunday so that we can take advantage of warmer afternoon weather and no boat traffic.

My beef is people who treat wakeboarding like a burden instead of a Good time. It makes wakeboarding less apealling then shoe shopping, fitness rollerblading, or Lawn mowing.
