    Ebay Shipping

Anyone else tired of a-holes making money on shipping charges? It's getting outrageous.

Just make sure you know what the shipping charge is before you bid. It is stupid but all you have to do is check the shipping charge before you bid.

You can get the exact size and weight to calculate the cost...then you can see how much they are adding for "handling". Then just negotiate the handling cost. Sometimes folks don't like using old boxes and they put cost in to buy new boxes at the shipping store. It's worth a shot and you can normally get it all done prior to winning the bid.

I know all the tricks, but it's just dissappointing seeing inflated flat shipping costs.

USPS offers flat rate envelopes and boxes for like $3-$7 ranging in size to anywhere in the US. Some of these people out of their minds.

I know some people inflate the shipping and yes, it pisses me off too. However, there are some sellers that inflate the shipping costs and sell the item much cheaper than those with lower shipping charges, that way they save on ebay fees. So you can still get good deals with high shipping costs, just pay attention to the total cost.

the concept of ebay is to get a good deal period.
