    Slip with lift

My lake level post failed to get what I really wanted. So I'll try this.

Please share what you are paying for slip with a lift. My cheapest quote is $499/month for a 12x25 ($299) with a 6600 HydroHoist ($200).

Not sure if you are looking for a specific lake price, but i'm at $3000 per year in Virginia. It includes a slip, lift, and a storage room upstairs.

I would try and find a used lift for sale. break-even would be 2 years and the depreciation is minimal

You must be on Lewisville or Grapevine. Prices over on those lakes are too high. Ray Hubbard is a little more reasonable but now that all the lakes are full everyone's prices have gone up.

Yes, It's 1.5 miles from the house to the ramp at Twin Coves Park, that's why I'm not on the water but waiting for it to open back up is killing me.

Bought a Hydro Hoist this weekend. Now the work begins to move it from Texoma to Grapevine!

I'm jealous. Throughout my mid 20s a buddy had his I/O Sea Ray with a tower on a lift at Scots Landing. We wore that thing out almost every night after work and some mornings. If we didn't have our place on whitney I would have a slip on g-vine. Nothing like strolling up and hitting a switch to be in the water.

Edit: My boat isn't in DFW currently but if you need some sort of help with the hoist install I'm around the next few weekends. PM me if you need a hand.

Thanks. But the marina won't let me do the install, so I have to hire it out. Also, l have to either wait a couple of weeks to let it dry out or have it cleaned, as Texoma has the dreaded zebra mussels.

Ordered the risers today to get the clearance needed for an v-drive. You guys with lifts is there anything else I need to be concerned about? What are you using to keep the boat centered side to side and positioned front to back as you dock it. I assume you get it lined up the first time note the position and you have it.

Thanks to my son's help we got it in today. I'm going to miss him this fall when he goes off to college! This summer's goal is to get in as much water time as we can.

The risers were not needed for a G23 on a HydroHoist 6600 front mount lift. To get the correct balance we had to power the boat onto the lift about 1.5 feet.

You should not have to power a boat on the lift. There are chains that limit how deep it goes. That just needs to be adjusted

I have the front mount and I'm already at the bottom of the Mooring Pipe. If I let the chain go out any further then the pipe will slip out of the Mount Control Unit. They told me it was OK to have to power it on the front mount.
