    Can a '68 Chevy Tow?

I am going to pick up a 68 chevy pickup next week. I can't wait to pick it up. Can it tow? I think it is a V8

    Thanks Chad

    RE: Can a

I don't see why not, assuming it's in good mechanical condition. I never heard of an old pickup truck that couldn't tow....

      Definately.

Hook up to it, and if it moves, you're good to go. hehe.

Of course you'll probably get horrible gas mileage.

I'd imagine it should be ok towing. Power should be there. My concern would be transmission and rear springs. Might be a good candidate for a tranny cooler & either helper leafs or an air bag kit in the back.

Other than that, that would be a KEWL towin' rig!!!

I learned a bit more today. It's a 327 V8 automatic. Apparently, the transmission has had something done just for towing. I was told top speed will be 70 at most, but thats as fast as i need to go. This thing apparently can ow a boat like theres nothing behind it. So this should be a great truck to tow with.

Can we see some pictures of it? I love classic pickups.
