Looking to move the family to Discovery Bay CA, was wondering if anyone has suggestions on where best to buy, and looking for a good Realtor?

what do you mean "where best to buy"? Discovery bay only has 2 choices on the water or not on the water(most of discovery bay is on the water, but make sure you know for sure the home youre looking at is on the water). You obviously want to be on the water. If not, then buy somewhere else, cause theres no reson to live in Discovery bay unless youre on the water.
If you mean "where best to buy" on the water, then the closer to fast water the better. If your house is in one of the furthest coves, then itll take you 20-30 mins cruising 5mph to get to fast water....

Thanks for the information. Yes plan to buy on water. Was not sure if there are areas with more weekly rentals than not, trying to near more permeant residents.

No, not really. There's only a handful of weekly rentals in the entire neighborhood.
