    Road trip

    Moving from VA to CA and planning to tow the boat across country on route 40.
    Looking for suggestions for some good lakes to stop and wakeboard on?

    My recommendation is: Stay in Virginia, there's no water in California. ;-)

      Norris Lake just north of Knoxville is great, but then you might not want to leave TN.

        Get most of them in before you hit Oklahoma City, after that they are few and small.
        2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop
        2010 SANTE 230 343 (280hrs)
        pre 2010 - various open bow boats and jet skis

          Then from Norris go to Cherokee, then go to Douglas, then go to Tellico, then go to Watts Bar, then go to..........you should plan on being in TN for at least a month.
          We were really impressed with all of the great lakes there.

          We liked it so much we ended up buying a house on Tellico and can't wait to finally move there.
