I thought I had seen it all...

Until today driving through a parking lot I saw this...

Did anyone know they even made lift kits for grand marquees?
This thing had at least an 8" lift on it, besides his 26" "rims" (although everyone knows they aren't just rims, they are the whole wheel)!

I think now I have seen the epitome of ghetto.

Looks like a stagecoach with those spoke wheels! Just needs a team of mules to pull it.

Those are all over the place where I live. Grand Marquis', Chevy Caprice and Impala's seem to be the car of choice when......er.....pimping their rides like the one above. And as if you couldn't already see them coming from two counties away, they're always painted a "make darn sure someone notice's me" purple, gold metal flake, lime green, and "hey taxi" yellow.

I'm just waiting for one of them to take a corner at more than 10 mph. Can you say bling bling while laying on your side. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

When we were in TN getting our tower put on we saw a late 80s monte carlo with 26" rims. I thought it was the funniest thing ever.

The tow rig would be completely submerged before th boat launched! I say we do it!

Then no one can say us Nautique owners don't know how to keep it real!!

the grand marquis/crown vic has a coil susp. front and back.
those are definetly bigger than 26's

there is a crown vic here that has 26's w/ no lift. needless to say, the tires look like a chainsaw was taken to them

Here are a couple links to learn all you wanted to know about "Donks, Boxes, and Bubbles". I must admit that I am fascinated from an engineering perspective.
