A friend who was with the boat involved with the accident called me to fill me in- He was not on the boat involved, but traveling with them and very close at the time of the incident. The guy who jumped had serious injuries involving compound fractures in both legs, and no sensation below his chest. He was airlifted out. The girl in the front of the boat suffered 2 broken knees and 2 broken ankles. The boat was damaged in the bow area enough to start taking on a small amount of water. Friend who called is a R.N, and helped with the girl on the boat. This is accurate as far as I was told by someone on scene-so second hand, I apologize in advance if there are any inaccuracies.
