Venting here...but why the f!!k do people not have their paperwork in order. I've been trying to buy an old pontoon boat to make a dock. People either don't have the boat title or trailer title. How do you loose a title for something that is 12 years old. Sorry, the state of PA requires titles. I'm trying to buy this in my state (PA). Latest person has all kinds of problems with both the pontoon and trailer paperwork. Can't believe it!

New person, different problem. Has pontoon to sell. Has no title. Seller states he has the old, expired registration card from previous owner. But says he legally purchased it. Ha, good luck explaining that to notary. No bill of sale either! I'd say third time is a charm, but I'm passed that number of pontoons.Comment
