Hah, enjoy it. Our winter here in Chicagoland has been the mildest of my memory, no measurable snowfall in January or February, which was a record, and I had open water on my lake before the end of February. Of course since the lake opened the weather has been cold, lol. We have only gotten about 6-8" so far in this storm, wish we were getting hammered like you guys!!
Yes, mild for us too. I think we are getting our winter all in one day. Last week was 70 degrees. I'm glad we did not get [snow] ski passes this winter. I remember March 2012, it was 90 degrees the last two weeks of the month. I got to Wakeboard on my birthday (the 25th).
Happy early BDay, I am 3 days before ya and only skied on my bday once in my life, had to go to North Carolina to do that, lol. No boat in the water yet so probably not going to happen a 2nd time, well at least not this year.
I don't know how you east coast guys can stand it. We went out on Sunday for our "season opener." Air temp 75. Water temp 61. Not bad at all with a wetsuit.
