    Where's the ODNR?

Out on West Branch State Park today and there were no fewer than 3 tree sized logs floating in the middle of the lake.

We drug one to shore - but w/ the amount of boat traffic on a day like today I would be willing to bet someone hit one if they weren't removed.

I don't understand why the Ohio Dept Natural Resources wouldn't take care of this before one of the busiest days of the season.

ScarletArrow -- the water we usually ride on had more debris on it than I have EVER seen before, but it appeared to be the result of all the traffic. All the rollers picked up shoreline junk and made a mess for everyone. Our water patrol did the best they could, but it was just as important for them to be patrolling the yahoo's on their first weekend out. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

We're pretty fortunate, though, as our water falls under city jurisdiction so we actually have police patrolling our water. They seem to be much much better at keeping the peace than the ODNR patrollers I've encountered on state waterways.

thats why you live on a private lake---no need to worry about odnr cops etc! they take the fun out of it imo..........

Our lake is privat and there was quite a bit of smaller branches floating around from heavy rains last Thursday night. This is fairly common in spring anyways. Just keep a good eye on the water ahead of you.
        Ski on dude!
