I thought you were a young guy? Most of that list is all the stuff I listened to back in High School. Fun list. Just surprised to see so many 25 year plus albums on it. BKH
Well, I thought I ws going to get some new ideas, but everything ya'll are listing we have, which is good. That BuckCherry album I'm getting into, Crazy B@#$H is a great song!!!
not to hijack, but whenever I hear that name I can't help but think of the best line from the Breakfast Club..."does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?"

exactly.
Just downloaded some John Parr, When in Rome, Starship. Some other suggestions... Bone Thugs, Kanye West, Kriss Kross, naughty by nature, nelly, mary j. blige, outkast, vanilla ice, van morrison, bodeans, carl douglas, dobie gray, 311, bad company, dire straits, black crowes, bon jovi, CSNY, doobie brothers, eric clapton, firehouse, george thorogood, four non blondes, frankie goes to hollywood, great white, haddaway, mellencamp, kenny wayne shepherd.... and on. Between my buddies and I all of these are on a CD somewhere and part of a rotation.
Hit the old stuff, it is good.
I guess you can tell I think that most of the music of today is complete garbage.
I've been pulling out some of the old punk stuff lately. The Vandals, X, Social Distortion (before they sold out), Dead Kennedys, old Clash, Toy Dolls, Sex Pistols, PIL, etc. I've still got a bunch of the more hardcore punk (Buzzcocks, Fear, the Germs, Black Flag, TSOL) but I must be gettin' old. Just doesn't sound like music to me anymore.
Looking at OTWs playlist I went back through my music from the Seventies and early 80s. Some real gems: April Wine, Golden Earing, Toto, the Tubes, Pat Benetar, Kansas, Journey, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, UFO, Ronny Montrose, Alan Parsons Project, and just about everything else on OTWs "oldies" list. Good stuff.
i've been playing my 'best of wake soundtrack' abit, gets me amped to ride..
