    Anyone else have problems with Skidim?

    I have had a few problems with them sending me the wrong parts, anyone else have this problem?
    It took them 3 months to get back to me after I ordered a 160 degree thermostat and was wondering why it was only getting to 140, it was one of their staff who sent me the wrong stat.
    Then after that all they offered was to send the right stat after i've been
    running cool for 2 months now and have to re-do the job. Crappy customer service if you ask me.

    Sorry to hear that Mark but I've ordered from them several times over the winter and have nothing but good things to say about them. I even ordered the wrong EI distrubutor converstion kit and they took care of the exchange right away. I've talked to several of their preople for tech advise and they were very helpful. Hopefully your problem was the exception

      Mark, Sorry to hear about your bad experience. My experiences have been second to none. I usually request Jeff as he is one of the best technical guys in the industry (IMO).

          They have been great for me. i can't even think about something to complain about!

              ok, guess it's just me. I received the wrong plug wires (for a GM) even though I told them I had a ford 351 gt-40, then the other problem with then sending the 143 degree thermostat instead of the 160 I ordered me trusting that they sent the right one installed it ( i know I should have checked it) and now I've been running about 135 degrees.
              To their credit the owner did call me and try to resolve it, but all they offered was
              another 10 dollar thermo, just thought it was kinda lame.
              Oh well at least I know why I've been running cool (3 months later)
              I'm sure i'll give them another chance, just wondering if anyone else had been sent
              wrong parts.

                no complaints here, i had some stuff that leaked out and made a mess and they shipped me another bottle of it

                  SkiDim has been great to me.........stuck with me through thick and thin problems I was having with the old Nautique. Really surprised to hear anyone having a problem with them. I guess they can have a bad day or miss an order.

                  I had an over-heating problem with a 91. I bought the ignition kit they offer from PCM and it didn't solve the problem and to this day can't explain why......just walked away from it by purchasing a new boat.........but during the process of install, they backed me up 110%........offered new parts incase something was failing.....made numerous calls to PCM etc etc. Over the years that is how I was always treated by them. Sorry to hear your bad experience.

                    From what I remember the temperature rating in marked on the package. Instead of them saying that they would not take the part back since it was installed, they offered you a free replacement. They made a mistake and I think they were fair in how they rectified their mistake.
