Cool, you just bought a G23. Now how do you get everyone to the lake?

Take the whole family, dog, coolers, gear, and watch a movie on the way home:

Duramax/Allison powered Yukon XL Denali. Seems like a the perfect rig for a family trip to the lake with a new mega wake boat in tow.

    Pricey? Sure....but so is a $170k G23.

Anyone on here have a Duraburb? Have any experience you'd like to share?

    On Ebay:
Duramax/Allsion Powered GMC Yukon XL Denali for sale by owner. - Denali /LTZ style leather seats and interior components. Similar to Duraburb. The LMM Duramax engine, Allison 6-speed automatic, and heavy duty rear axle with 3.73 gears are from a 2010 2500HD truck from Texas. | eBay!

Wow that seems high for a vehicle with 128,000 miles and being a model 12 years old.

I have a few friends with Duraburb conversions. If the base vehicle is a 2500 (or the Suburban 3500HD), you will be fine. If it is a 1/2 ton, walk away as it will be unsafe to tow your G23 without upgrading shocks, sway bars and brakes. Especially hauling 5+ people.

I want one! Wished they still manufactured them. If Ford/GM started putting diesels in a 3/4+ Ton full size SUV (like they used to) I would buy one tomorrow.

If GM and Ford followed the wake boat market closer, they would see the need based on how heavy the boats are getting. In 2018, I sold more upgrade packages for Suburbans and Yukon XLs (brakes, sway bars, shocks, 10k-lb hitches/balls) than I can count, but the 1/2 ton chassis is still not solid like the 2500 SUV and 3500HD SUV chassis. Families like mine need to haul 8 people to the lake in one vehicle.
