New wakeboarder in the family. Took my 6 year old out for the third time early Saturday and he is now a rider. This time when he got up (45’ rope off of tower) he stayed up until he got tired and let go. He even crossed the wake one time. At 45’ rope length and the slow speed the wake was very small. I was very proud of him. I helped him get his board on and I helped him into the water. He did all of the rest on his own.

It is going to be nice not being the only wakeboarder in the family. Also I am 46 so I have cut back on the tricks. I only do a few grabs and front and back side 180's. I still have original knees, no modifications. I feel pretty lucky since I have been wakeboarding for 20 years. Started with a skuffer launch in 86.Comment
