How deep is the lake at your dock and how much does the water level change during boating season?
    Ski on dude!

Floe and ShoreStation are the 2 big names here. I've owned 2 ShoreStations and both have worked well for me over the years.

so the lake is probably 10-15ft where we are at start of the season and it falls 3-4 ft. we have floating docks and lake level is controlled inside operating bands so pretty stable.

We just got a marine railway for our GS20. Our shore is stepped rock, and the water drops off steeply. The previous owner of the property had issues stabilizing the rear legs on a lift - railway works well for us (replaced our older one with this newer one capable of holding more weight).

This really isn't a question anyone here can realistically answer unless they're in exactly the same area as yourself. Every lake has it's requirements, restrictions, and local dealers/distributors. You should consult with a local dealer. You will need local support and they will know how to handle your situation.

Clearly, you need a boat lift to protect your boat, maintain its value, and enjoy the water. They're well worth the investment when you consider the extra cost and resources that would result from water damage and deterioration.

That's a lot of water shift. Concur with the suggestion of talking to your local dealer.

A floating lift like this might be one approach given the water variance. They are popular here the PNW in tidal regions where you see similar level changes.
