    Talk about a boat

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?d....q=turbine+boat

    50 ft. 160 mph

    Turbine engines

Talk about big money. But man how sweet that would be. Like 1400 hp per engine and only need to be rebuilt every 1000 hrs and can run at max power for a while. Very very efficient for these kind of boats.

I have a hard enough time trying to sip my beer @ 25 mph.

That sure looks like fun, but I can't help but think about BKH's story about the steering linkage breaking.

I liked the helmets and life vests they were wearing. The invisible kind. I'm not sure I would want to get any where near 160 in an open cockpit boat without some survival gear.

yeah the wake looks perky as he's idling out but I think a tower would mess up the clean lines

Looks like two different boats in the video to me. The first one is much smaller than the second one. Either way, I don't want any part of it with out a helmet and a life jacket!
