"no crying in the breast milk"

Can I bitch about the weather? In New Hampshire we haven't seen 80 degrees or higher on a weekend day in the month of August. It has rained at least 1 day on the last 3 weekends in August and has been windy, overcast and cool on the dry days. Water has gone from 78-68 (or less) in 2 weeks.

Had it not rained everyday (ok an exaggeration to make a point) until late June this wouldn't be so hard to take. This summer was a month long July, 1 heat wave, 3 days of 90 plus, ten cold, wet and windy.

Here is this weekend forecast: Hopefully we can ski 2 out of the 3 mornings

    Sat
    Sep 2 Showers
    high 66°/low54° 40%

    Sun
    Sep 3 Rain
    63°/56° 60%
    3 Poor

    Mon
    Sep 4 Mostly Cloudy
    74°/56° 20%

It seems like the rest of the country has basked in the sun. I'm ready for some all-inclusive global warming. To make it worse we snow ski and we had the lowest snow total on records in the mountains last year.

I was up on Winnepesaukee for the week of July 4th and it was beautiful. That is one of the reasons I moved south in 2000. 7 months to ski!!!!!!!! Don't mean to rub it in. You have some off the most beautiful lakes in the Country.

Rain keeps everyone off the lake, its a compromise...

This is indeed crummy weather for August, but June and July sure were nice.

Guess its always a trade off in some way...
We have 6 straight months of temps 90-110 and water is in the high 70's to mid 80's all summer.
Its a 3.5 hour 220 mile drive to get to the River.

I feel that way about cold weather but we don't ski in the rain.

Texas is having a terrible drout and to make it worse we have been having 90+ degree nights.

                  Lakes are all REALLY low.

I would rather ski in the rain or in winter than to drag my boat across the rocks beacuse there is no water for it to float in.

We're down 6" in WI! This will help keep the tables above water this weekend at the rock bar, not such a bad thing after all.

Same problem in OK as in TX...we don't have any water in our lakes. I'd rather have rain than dry lakes.
