Wake Surfing

Hey guys, what's the big deal. It's watersports, and a watersports site. It's supposed to be fun. Skiing, tubing, foiling, surfing, boarding, whatever. Each has inherent dangers. Each has folks who like and dislike them. Each has folks who would ban them.

Interesting discussion around whether wakefuring is or is not any more dangerous than any other water sports. Interesting discussion regarding how banning one activity can quickly lead to banning of another. It's all good fodder. No need to get personal. Heck, its still summer and tempers are flairing. Whatever your water activity, get out and enjoy it while the sun still shines. My $.02. BKH

Lets get one thing straight, I didn’t choose the heading of this topic, the site admin chose this topic thread heading, and in my opinion my original post has been modified. The reasoning the post was moved was because my statement “it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if surfing was banned” was felt to be off topic, but other off topic subjects in that thread were kept because my opinion on wakesurfing is the minority on this site and I admit it is the minority on other sites and among my friends. But just because the majority love the sport dosnt mean that I have to like it. Now, I have caught a lot of grief for the reasons that I really don’t think its safe, and that I really don’t care for how a lot of surfers conduct themselves or run their boats in my local environment.

I did move this portion of the new 210 for 2007 thread into the Off Topic area, and yes, I did choose the topic heading. The reason I moved it is because it has nothing to do with the new 210 for 2007. I did not move it because I disagree with the information in this thread. I did edit out the foul language in the first post (which is a violation of the terms of use that you agreed to follow when you joined this site), but did not in any way alter the ideas contained in the post.

jeff, i would like to see what foul language you deleted from my post, because I have not used any foul language in any of my post, unless you think **** yell is foul? Also, apart of my pm to ag4ever was inserted into the first post! I tried finding my pm but it is now deleted out of mail box. And I originally pm him, so that this post would not go overboard like it has. Also, my post had every thing to do with the topic, that the 210 was known for its wake and it didnt matter about the surf wake for most of the people that buy 210 from my area. I really think some one talking about carreer changes and what religous values or what company does for charity is way off topic compared too, its all about the wakeboard wake and cant wait to see what the 07 changes will be

I'm not going to argue with you. Obviously the site auto-edited what you wrote to 'heck', and yes, that is considered a violation of the terms of use. There was other foul language in your original post as well, which I edited out. Also, you are absolutely wrong about any part of a PM being put into that post. Absolutely wrong.

The reason you can't see your message that you sent to another user is that each night, all messages in everyone's sent boxes are deleted to save server space. This has been going on for well over a year.
