    Lake Keowee Wake Surfing??

Been considering possible relocation to Keowee and thus would be putting my G23 on this lake. Anyone with specific knowledge of this lake, I know it has some narrower spots but are there plenty of good surfing locations to be found??

It's a beautiful lake for sure... But still wanna surf

And I am not as concerned about a lone busy day here or there but a pattern of so busy that its hard to find a place to surf.

    Thanks!

we boat there every weekend. it does have wonderful spots to ski and surf. It gets quite rough on the weekends these days, particularly the big holiday weekends. It is to the point now we go the week after memorial/july 4th/labor day. boating on this lake as a kid in the 90s, you'd rarely see other boats on the north end, especially north of Hwy 11. but when the big golf course communities and money came in, it started to get a lot busier in the later 2000s. If you are gonna surf (we do too) just stay out in the big channels away from coves, docs, fisherman, etc. problem is, that is also the rougher areas. better to get out on the water before 10am for that stuff, or on slow weekends, or less optimal weather weekends, or weekdays. We were out a few weeks ago, water was 72, air 74, and overcast. lake was great because nobody goes out if its not sunny.
