    What is up with Wakespecialty.com???

    I'm not one to normally publically air out a gripe, but I'm about at the end of my rope here. Does anybody have any idea on the current status of these guys? I placed on order on July 20 for some LED stuff. Paid for it via PayPal. On August 20th, after repeated unanswered phone calls, I finally managed to get in touch with Kris. He told me the parts would ship out that day. Well, here it is Sept. 13, almost 2 months after the initial order and I still have not received anything and nobody at their place will answer the phone or return my calls. Does anybody know what is up there? In spite of all this crap I would still rather have my product than my money back, but I am about to get PayPal involved in a dispute in order to get my money back. Kris, if you read this, you still have the chance to make this right, but if I don't hear from you soon, I will take this up with PayPal.

    wow, that sucks man...i ordered a few items from the about a year ago and was pleased with their customer service and prompt shipping. good luck with the order.

Correct Craft even contacted me, saying that they couldn't get in touch with him either. They have stopped allowing him to sell merchandise from his site, so he is no longer an official reseller of Correct Craft products.

            I'm going through the same thing right now with this guy. I ordered some Nautique trailer pads three weeks ago and haven't seen them yet. I've emailed him numerous times asking if the stuff has shipped and get no reply. I payed for them through Paypal and looks like I'm going to have to file a complaint to get my money back. If anyone can get in touch with this guy tell him to ship out his remaining orders and close up shop. He obviously has more important things going on and should quit wasting peoples time.

              I talked with Clay and he said he orderd some stuff from Kris and it came as promised. So I dont know what to say. I hope Kris gets this worked out quick and its just a isolated incident because bad press spreads quick. He is a good guy and had quality stuff but if you cant deliver what your selling and your pissing people off then your not gonna last long.

                I think PayPal has a 60 day window for disputes, so you may want to open one now before it's too late. A dispute isn't anything really bad and you are still comunicating with the seller trying to work things out. YOu have to take up another level before PP gets involved, so you shouldn't hesitate in opening one up.

                  I also ordered a couple of guide pole covers a few weeks ago and have not received them. I called Kris over a week ago, he said he thought they had shipped and would call me back. He has not called back.

                    Does anybody out there have an alternate method of contact for Wakespecialty? Apparently, so many people have left messages on their system that it will no longer take messages.

                    For all you out there that have orders, just an FYI. PayPal has a 45 day policy to settle disputes, not 60. Basically, I am screwed and probably will never see the product or my money back. I suggest that if you are inside this window, that you open up a conflict resolution with PayPal in order to try to get your money back.

                    If there are any of you out there that know Kris, and he is a reputable type person, please implore him to refund his customers' money. If he is not that type of person, then join me in wishing him exactly where to go.

                      UPDATE: Amazingly, after a bit of complaining in a public forum, I received a partial shipment of my order. No packing invoice or anything, and from the date on the newspaper it was packing in, itwas packed on 9/11. I'm still waiting to see if I get the rest of my order, but I did at least get a partial shipment.

                        Be glad you ordered guide pads and not a tower and wakeboard racks like i did. I got my tower thanks to new dimension but i ordered through Chris and it got shipped to texas to him instead of alabama where i live. I have yet to recieve one of my board racks and my order was placed in july. Worst bull.....t company, one man show, whatever operation i have ever dealt with in my life. I wouldnt order dental floss from that liar.

                          I ordered stuff and still havent gotten it. I spoke with him twice and and he said he was having problems with a partner in the business but would handle the shipping himself and didnt. His phone is now not in service and i have spoke with people that know him and he is not even returning e-mails. Do Not Wait open paypal disute not just a compliant.

                            Ordered guide pads 7/11...NEVER RECEIVED THEM...too late for a pay-pal dispute. Great way to treat customers. He kept telling me they were back ordered and then communication just stopped.

                              Just wanted to say thanks to all of you guys who have shared your similar experiences with Wake Specialty. Thankfully I stumbled across this forum topic in time that I was still able to file a complaint with paypal. I went ahead and filed the complaint and still no response from Wake Specialty. I've now escalated to a claim in an attempt to get my money back. We'll see what happens. Everyone else out there who has been ripped off by this guy......don't hesitate to take action no matter how much money you lost. There's no excuse for taking someones money and not holding up your end of the deal.
